In those years Tecnodesign, the planning heart of the company, was established. Tecnodesign was meant to be the internal division to assist clients with co-design and engineering aspects. Ever since, each year Tecnodesign also proposes innovative solutions of high aesthetic and functional impact.
At the same time, investments in state-of-the-art technological devices grew and the computerization of company processes grew stronger.
1983 was the year of the participation of the Italian yacht Azzurra in the America's Cup race. In the framework of an important image operation Tecnoform built a caravan village to accommodate Azzurra's crew and staff in collaboration with the French Caravelair.
